RoHS Self Declaration
Astera Labs certifies our semiconductor products comply with the RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863
amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU standards.
Halogen Self Declaration
Astera Labs certifies our semiconductor products are Halogen free (Bromine < 900 ppm,
Chlorine < 900 ppm, total halogens below 1500 ppm).
REACH Self Declaration
The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances)
regulations, adopted by the European Union on June 1st, 2007, addresses the
environmental and human health impact of chemical substances. The European Chemical
Agency issues the list of chemicals included in the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
and last updated the list on June 10th, 2022.
REACH requires company registration when chemicals are imported or manufactured within
the European Union (EU). Astera Labs products are classified as “articles” per REACH article
33. Our products do not release substances under their normal operation conditions. All
companies who supply articles, must provide information on SVHC if those substances have
a concentration above 0.1% within the article. Astera Labs products do not contain any
SVHC.
Astera Labs meets the REACH requirements and is committed to provide customers specific
information regarding the substances within our products as required. Astera Labs products
support the objective of REACH which is to improve the protection of human health and
environment.
