¡Así se dice! Level 3. Columbus, OH: McGraw-Hill Education, 2016.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Spanish 3 is a continuation of our online Spanish II course, including development of all modalities of
the language listening, speaking, reading, and writing with a heavy emphasis on grammatical
structures and verb tenses. Having mastered the present tense in Spanish I and some of the past
tenses in Spanish 2, students will move on to deepen the understanding of the subjunctive mood, a
variety of forms of commands, the subjunctive with radical variations and used with common
expressions, compound verbs, suffixes, and imperfect subjunctive. The big idea of Spanish 3 is
differentiating and mastering the use of the subjunctive mood and using it a variety of settings.
Spanish III moves beyond daily life or leisurely activity discussions into topics such as Hispanic cuisine,
