● Create or use an existing Jeopardy! game at
JeopardyLabs.com
● Category names, dollar values, clues, and
answers are all fully editable
● Adaptable for all iClicker question types
(multiple choice, numeric, short answer, target)
○ Multiple choice is the easiest and fastest
response type for handheld iClicker
remotes
● Pro Tip: Put the question type and “dollar”
value in the clue!
Building the Game
● “No teams” or individual mode best for online
● Start with an easy $100-level clue to get
students familiar with the game
● Instructor can select clues
● Continue selecting clues in same category until
majority of class gets a question wrong, then
move to new category

● iClicker Cloud desktop software:
○ Select correct answers as you play,
using results chart on toolbar
○ There can be multiple correct answers
● iClicker Cloud instructor website:
○ After ending iClicker session, update
the point value of each correct
response to match its dollar value in
the screenshot
Scoring the Game
● Sort by top scorers in Grades tab to select contestants for Final Jeopardy!
● Give the Final Jeopardy! clue in your presentation software and set a timer
● Students can write out wagers and responses and hold them up at the same time
● Winner can choose prize that benefits the whole class

● Create a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? game at
http://www.superteachertools.us/millionaire/
● Type in your questions and answers, and select the
correct answer for each
○ Multiple choice questions only
○ A-D responses only (students shouldn’t select
“E” in iClicker Reef app)
● Modify point values if needed
● Accommodates up to 15 questions (can use fewer
and game will automatically adjust)
Playing the Game
● Individual mode
○ Everyone responds to questions individually
○ Whole class moves forward until you get to a
question that the majority can’t answer
correctly
● Hybrid mode - what we did
○ Everyone responds to questions individually
○ A “contestant” can consult the results chart as
an “ask the audience” lifeline, but it’s up to
them to give a “final answer”
○ Contestant continues until they get an answer
wrong, then another student can take over
Scoring the Game
● Two scoring ideas:
○ Individual mode: Everyone “wins” if the class as a whole
makes it to a certain point (e.g., at least question 7 out of 10
questions)
○ Hybrid mode: Winning “contestant” gets to choose the prize
