Groome Transportation offers shuttles from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International
Airport (MSP) to several locations in Duluth. Those closest to the Trail would be 1) the
University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) campus and 2) Holiday Station/Burger King at 210
S 27th Ave W.

Jefferson Bus Company provides service from the MSP airport to several Duluth
locations. The main terminal (228 W Michigan St.) is in downtown Duluth and close to the
Lakewalk portion of the Trail. Buses also stop at UMD, which is near the Bagley Nature
Center. The first SHT campsite north of Duluth, Bald Eagle campsite, is about 10 miles
from UMD.

Superior Shuttle is available for reservations May 1 to October 31. They no longer provide
scheduled service; reservation only. Same-day pick-ups or drop-offs possible when
availability allows. This shuttle serves the entire 300-mile trail corridor, including the
southern and northern terminuses. Dog-friendly.

Shuttle operates every day except Monday on a first-come, first-serve basis by
reservation dependent on the availability of drivers. Service available from Fox Farm
Eastern Trailhead near Two Harbors to Cook County Road 14 Trailhead near Hovland.
Shuttles must be booked as far in advance as possible. Reservations can be made online or
by phone or text.

Superior by Nature operates May 1 to October 31 and provides shuttles the SHT in Cook
County, along with other remote water and trail access wilderness entries throughout the
Arrowhead region. The shuttle service’s base camp is at Points Unknown in Hovland.
Camping, showers, secure parking, and other pre- and post-trip services available.
