Bring your kids to Buffalo Park for a day
of activities and crafts at our 32nd Annual
Children’s Festival. Then dress up your dinghy
in a patriotic theme and join the 14th Annual
Dinghy Parade through the coves of the West
End. Prizes will be awarded for the most
creative dinghies.

FIREWORK SHOW
Join us for a spectacular Two Harbors tradition,
as fireworks are launched on the water over
Isthmus Cove. Fireworks begin at dark.

32nd Annual Jimmy Walker Buffalo Chip Toss.

kelp forest and spot up to 50 species of fish and invertebrates in
visibility that often exceeds 60 feet.
PADDLE AROUND PARADISE
Explore the clear waters of Isthmus Cove, paddle to a remote
beach for a picnic or just enjoy a scenic cruise along the coast.

BIKE THE WEST END
Head out for a two-wheeling adventure into Catalina’s beautiful
interior. It’s a great workout and great way to explore the miles
of trails that crisscross the island. The Dive & Recreation Center
rents Specialized mountain bikes with front-end suspension for a
smooth, comfortable ride. All rentals include interior biking permit,
map and helmet.
CAST OFF AND CAST A LINE
Whether you’re looking to catch dinner or just cast off for a cruise
along the coast, our outboard skiffs are a great way to enjoy the
clear blue water of Catalina’s West End. The Dive & Recreation
Center rents skiffs and you can get your bait and tackle at the

PLAY A ROUND OF DISC GOLF
Get the gang together for a round of disc golf. Just pick up some
flying discs and a scorecard, and head to hole #1 at the south end
of Buffalo Park and follow the signs. Visit the Dive & Recreation

CATALINA HARBOR, TWO HARBORS
Catalina Harbor is one of only two U.S. Coast Guard “Year-
round Safe Harbors” in Southern California. It has 117 moorings
and anchorage for over 200. A natural sand spit extends across
a portion of the harbor entrance. A public dinghy dock, picnic
facilities and free pump out service are available. The village of
Two Harbors is a short walk on flat terrain from the dock.
ISTHMUS COVE, TWO HARBORS
With 257 moorings and anchorages for well over 100 vessels,
Isthmus Cove is second only to Avalon Harbor in boat activity
on Catalina. Ferries from the mainland dock at the pier, and Two
Harbors Harbor Department is based here. Shoreboat rides are
available year-round, with 24-hour service in the summer and a
more limited schedule in the winter.

FOURTH OF JULY COVE
This little jewel is west of Isthmus
Cove, with 42 moorings and deep
water (100+ feet) anchorages.
The Banning brothers, who
established Two Harbors in the
1900s, held many Fourth of July
celebrations here. Fourth of July
Yacht Club leases the onshore
facilities, which are popular
among boaters.
CHERRY COVE
Cherry Cove has 99 moorings and deep water (100+ feet)
anchorages. There is a Boy Scout Camp on shore. Two stands of
endemic trees—the Catalina cherry and the ironwood—are up the
canyon behind the cove. Lion’s Head, a prominent point of land on
the western side of the cove’s entrance, protects vessels from the
prevailing afternoon winds.

HOWLAND’S LANDING
Howland’s Landing, the next cove west of Big Geiger, has
moorings for 40 boats. Catalina Island Camp is located on shore
and Los Angeles Yacht Club has shoreside facilities. The Howland’s
Landing watershed is the largest on Catalina’s West End.
EMERALD BAY
The next cove west of Howland’s Landing is Emerald Bay, with 102
moorings and anchorage for five to ten boats. This cove offers a
long strip of natural sandy beach that boaters can access. Corsair
Yacht Club and Boy Scout Camp have private onshore facilities
here which are not open to the public.
HEN ROCK
Located just south of Long
Point is Hen Rock, featuring 25
moorings and anchorage for
40. With abundant sea life and
several fun reefs to explore,
Hen Rock is one of the best
snorkeling and dive sites on
Catalina Island. The onshore
facilities are leased to Balboa
Yacht Club.
WHITE’S LANDING &
MOONSTONE COVE
These coves are located past
Long Point, east of Two Harbors.
They have a combined 58
moorings and anchorage for 50.
White’s Landing offers one of
the nicest and most expansive
sandy beaches on the island.
Newport Harbor Yacht Club
leases facilities at Moonstone.
BUTTONSHELL COVE
Situated seven miles east of Isthmus Cove, Buttonshell Cove is
fairly small, with only seven moorings and anchorage for ten.
Catalina Island Marine Institute Camp Fox, a YMCA summer camp,
leases the land side facilities.

This Two Harbors “quick stop” is open daily
and offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch
items, including fresh baked cinnamon rolls,
cappuccinos, lattes, coffee, breakfast burritos,
and a generous selection of burgers, specialty
salads and wraps that you can enjoy on the deck
overlooking the harbor.
HARBOR REEF SALOON
Enjoy a great selection of beer, wine and
signature cocktails, like the world famous Buffalo
Milk. Harbor Reef Saloon also serves appetizers,
salads and sandwiches. Join us for live music on
the Harbor Reef Patio on Saturday and Sunday
during the day, and dance to DJs on Friday and
Saturday nights, from July 4th through Labor Day.

Soft sand and swaying palms lend South
Pacific charm to this beautiful oasis on the
shore of Isthmus Cove. Get together with
friends in a furnished beachside palapa,
offering refreshing amenities and seating for
up to eight, or spend a relaxing day by the
shore in an oceanfront lounge chair.
For the ultimate in beachfront dining, Reef
Point Dining Deck at the foot of the pier serves
signature food and drinks with spectacular
ocean views. Food and beverage service is
available from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm daily during

TWO HARBORS CAMPGROUND
On a bluff overlooking the ocean, these sites are a short
walk from the village of Two Harbors. Amenities include
showers, restrooms, picnic tables, fire pits, BBQs,
sunshades and gear haul from the pier.
LITTLE HARBOR
Hike, bike or take the shuttle to what Sunset Magazine
rated “One of the Best Campgrounds in the West.
Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, BBQs,
chemical toilets, rinse-off showers, fresh water and
sunshades.
BLACK JACK
More than 1,600 feet above the sea, this campground
offers 11 sites in a secluded, tranquil setting with
sweeping ocean and canyon views. Amenities include
picnic tables and chemical toilets.
PARSON’S LANDING
Accessible by foot or kayak, this secluded beachfront
campground offers BBQs, fire rings, picnic tables
and chemical toilets. No shade structures. Water and
firewood can be pre-ordered and delivered to your site.
BRISA DEL MAR
Located on the beach with accommodations for up to
30, this site is ideal for those who enjoy fishing, kayaking
and snorkeling. Amenities include charcoal grills, flush
toilets and a large A-Frame shade structure.
BAHIA AZUL
This secluded site accommodates up to 30, with all the
amenities for an unforgettable camping experience,
including a semi-private beach, large fire pit, Weber gas
grill, flush toilets and amazing ocean views.
TWO HARBORS
CAMPING CABINS
Located in the village, these 2-person cabins
have a refrigerator, heater and closet. Guests
share rest rooms, showers and a kitchen
with gas cook top, barbecues, a sink with
running water and plenty of counter space.
