Goffstown High School is a suburban, public high school located nine miles
northwest of Manchester. The student population consists of residents of
Goffstown and New Boston. The Goffstown community has a population of
18,274 while New Boston is home to 6040 residents.

CURRICULUM
Goffstown High School offers a comprehensive curriculum with coursework
available at Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, and Honors levels. Not
all subjects are offered at all levels. All science courses include a laboratory
component.
CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Students can participate in career and technical education programs at the
Manchester School of Technology during junior and senior year.
RUNNING START
Running Start is a dual-enrollment program with the Community College
System of New Hampshire that allows students to earn college credit. GHS
offers 18 Running Start courses which are designated with “RS” preceding
the course title.
HONORS COURSEWORK
Students have the option of engaging in honors level coursework in every
academic area. Currently students have the option of 35 different honors
level courses.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSEWORK
The following 15 College Board AP® courses are offered: Biology, Calculus
AB & BC, Chemistry, English Language & Composition, English Literature,
European History, Microeconomics, Physics I, Physics II, Statistics, Spanish,
US Government & Politics, U.S. History, World History.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Goffstown High School offers over 50 opportunities for students to be
involved with the school community. These include Future Business
Leaders of America, FIRST Robotics, Special Olympics, student
government, student newspaper, theater, dance, music, special interest
clubs, and athletics. Additionally, qualified students may apply to be
members of National Honor Society and S.A.L.C (Student Athletic
Leadership Council), as well as several other discipline based honor
societies.
