Mission: To provide accessible, sus-
tainable, reliable, efficient, and quality
public transportation.
Commuter Service Area
Valley Transit service area for the
commuter route includes Big Lake,
Meadow Lakes, Wasilla, and Anchor-
age.
We travel with limited stops during
peak travel hours.
Demand Response Service
Valley Transit also offers demand re-
sponse service within the Valley. This
service is curb to curb, based on res-
ervation, ride sharing service, open to
the general public.
Service area includes Houston, Big
Lake, Meadow Lakes, Wasilla, Knik
Goose Bay, Fairview, Port MacKen-
zie, Palmer, & the Butte.
Demand response is provided on a
zone based fare at only $3 a zone.
Service is provided Monday-
Saturday.
To schedule a ride call us at 864-
5000 6am-8pm Monday-Friday and
7:30am-4pm on Saturdays.
VALLEY
Valley Transit operates Monday-
Saturday with the exception of
some holidays.
Valley Transit offers a commuter
service between the Matanuska
Susitna Valley & Anchorage &
demand response service within
the Valley.
Commuter Service Fares:
$7 One way, $10 Day Pass,
$120 Month Pass
